Kipling Cubs

Kipling Cubs love camping
Kipling Cubs enjoying themselves at Horley Camp

Kipling Cubs meet on Monday evenings from 7pm – 8.30pm.
We have a mixture of boys and girls in our pack aged from 8 – 10.5 years old.

Kipling leaders are Gary (Shere Khan), James (Baloo), Michaela (Raksha) and Tom (Jakala). We also receive help from Sam (Bagheera) and Paul (Chil) and our young leaders Jacob and Josh (Mowgli)

On pack nights we do loads of great stuff such as science, games, fitness, traditional scout skills such as orienteering, fire lighting, back woods cooking, knots and camping with the emphasis on the Cubs having as much fun as possible.
Outside of pack nights we offer many other activities. We have been to London science museum, swimming, laser quest and Gilwell park. We also camp locally and have recently had camps in North Leigh, Youlbury and a fantastic district camp in Horley.

We are also extremely active in the events offered by the district, county and group. We have taken part in camps, hikes, swimming galas, chess, super cub challenge, Gilwell fun day and the Bonner trophy.

We are extremely proud to parade twice a year on St Georges Day and Remembrance Sunday.
